This is the part of the business most people do not know about: we frame houses. Builders and general contractors across East Tennessee bring us in to stand the walls, set the trusses, sheathe and dry in — whole houses, subdivision after subdivision. The gallery below is all of it. If you are a builder who needs a framing crew that shows up and keeps the schedule, that is the call to make.
Block foundations laid, walls framed and stood, floor systems set. The part of a house nobody sees and everything else depends on.
Trusses set and braced, roof decked and dried in fast. Getting a house under roof before the weather turns is half of keeping a build on schedule.
Sheathing, house wrap, windows and doors in, roof on. The house is sealed up so the inside work can start.
Roofing
A roof is the one part of your house where the shortcuts do not show until it rains. We tear the old material off down to the deck, replace the boards that are soft, run synthetic underlayment instead of felt, and flash the chimney and the valleys properly — because that is where leaks actually start, not out in the middle of the field. We do shingle and metal, on existing homes in Knoxville and Maryville and on new structures we frame from the walls up.
The old shingles come off, the deck gets inspected, and soft sheathing gets replaced before anything new goes down. Roofing over a bad deck is how a roof fails twice.
The details nobody photographs and everybody leaks through. Step flashing at the walls, proper counterflashing at the chimney, and valleys that shed instead of collecting.
Architectural shingle for most homes, metal when you want it to outlast you. We have done both, including complete metal roofs on new builds.
Decks & Railings
Decks are where most of our photos come from, and that is not an accident: it is the work we get called back for. We build new decks and stairs, replace the ones that have gone soft, and run railings on everything from a back porch in Knoxville to a hundred feet of commercial walkway. Framing is pressure-treated and the posts go where they carry load, not where they are easy. If you need an accessible ramp with code railings, that is the same job to us.

Height, spacing and graspable handrails. On a commercial walkway that is not optional, and on your house it is the thing that keeps somebody from going over the edge.

Patio Covers & Screen Rooms
A patio cover is a structure, not an accessory. Ours get real posts on real footings, a header sized for the span, and a finished ceiling instead of exposed joists and daylight. Wire it for a fan and the back deck becomes the part of the house you actually use in July. If you want the bugs out too, we screen it in.

You look up at a ceiling, not at the underside of a roof. We run the wiring for a fan and lights while the structure is open.

Concrete & Driveways
Concrete is unforgiving: you get one shot at the base and the finish, and everything after that is a repair. We prep and compact before we pour, form so the water runs off the slab instead of standing on it, and broom-finish it so it is not a skating rink when it rains. When a section has already heaved or cracked through, we take that piece out and replace it instead of patching over the problem.
New pours and full replacements, formed with the right fall so water leaves the slab.
Front walks, side paths and the connecting pieces, cut and jointed so the cracks land where we put them.
Broken, heaved and sunken sections removed and repoured. Patching a slab that moved just moves the crack.
Drywall
Most drywall complaints are not about the board, they are about the finish. We hang it, tape it, float it and sand it to the point where paint is the only thing left — not to the tape stage for somebody else to sort out. And when the job means taking a wall out first, we frame the header, set it, and board it back the same week.
Finished ready for primer. A wall that looks flat under a work light still shows every seam once the paint is on.
Opening a kitchen into a living room is a framing job before it is a finish job. We size and set the header so what is above it stays put.
A leak that got fixed still leaves a hole. We cut it back to solid, reframe if the studs are gone, and blend the finish.
Flooring
Pulling carpet is the easy half. The half that decides how the floor looks in five years is what happens underneath: we check the subfloor, screw down what squeaks, and flatten it before a single plank goes in. Otherwise the new floor telegraphs every problem the old one was hiding. Stairs included — they are the hardest part of a floor job and the first thing anyone sees.
Carpet, pad, tack strip and staples. We take it with us, so you are not left with a roll of it in the driveway.
Squeaks screwed down, soft spots replaced, high spots taken down. This is the step that gets skipped and the one that shows.
Treads and risers are where a flooring job is won or lost. They are also the first thing a guest looks at.
